Bodega El Lomo
In the municipal district of Tegueste and in a totally rural setting with a fantastic panoramic view of the area is Bodega El Lomo.
The vineyard is located at a height above sea level of between 375 and 413 metres, on a farm whose name is used also for the wine label, “El Lomo”. This is an area of rocky origin where the vines take advantage of the peculiar characteristics of the land and the environment.
The bodega or vineyard was founded in the late 1980s and belongs to the family of Félix Rodríguez Rodríguez. It grows about 250,000 kilos of grapes. The new building has areas devoted to a quality control laboratory, facilities for the employees together with a wine-cellar for the barrels and bottling. There is also a visitors' tasting-room for events, courses, celebrations and banquets.
